Pelosi's Visit to Taiwan

Nancy Pelosi's sneaky visit to Taiwan was a stupid, self-glorifying and irresponsible chess move that benefits no one and endangers everyone. She openly called Taiwan a country, which is historically, factually and legally untrue. Taiwan is a part of China. 

The Chinese Government was super smart and a great chess player. It did not take the bait and shoot down Pelosi's plane as wished by many angry Chinese, possibly even a few Republican Americans.  Instead, the Chinese Government let Pelosi go to Taiwan and leave safely and then took countermeasures, including a three days' military exercise that effectively created a blockade and encirclement of Taiwan. 

Pelosi and her immediate family have been sanctioned by the Chinese Government. Hundreds of Taiwanese products for export to China have been banned from entering. Also the Chinese Government has suspended or stopped cooperating with the United States in eight different areas. US / China relations would not improve any time soon. 

Pelosi's sneaky trip to Taiwan grossly violated the sovereignty and territorial integrity of  China. She not only stepped on the red line; she crossed it. She has opened a door for China to expedite the unification with Taiwan. Seeking Taiwan independence by the separatists is not only the wrong choice; it is a stupid choice. It is a self-defeating game and a road to death.

To wear or not to wear?

To wear or not to wear? That's the question in fighting the Corona virus. Not only an issue of wearing a mask or not, just about any issue big or small would provoke American fights and arguments. ___________________________________________________ This used-to-be great country called the 'United' States of America has become very 'divisive'. It is no longer united. No thanks to Trump and his gangster-like but worse administration, America is not becoming great again. Instead, Trump is quickening the decline and possible collapse of the US of A. Trump is not making America great again. Is China richer than America ?

China is now home to more wealthy people than the U.S. According to Credit Suisse’s global wealth report of 2019, out of the hundreds of millions of people that make up the wealthiest 10% of people on the planet in 2018, 100 million lived in China and 99 million lived in the United States. _________________________________________________ The U.S. is not a poor country, but the reality is that a few rich people own a very large amount of the country’s income and wealth, while the common people own a very small amount of it. In other words, the wealth gap is huge. The rich are getting richer and richer, but the poor are getting poorer and poorer. While the middle class in China is growing, the middle class in the U.S. is declining. _________________________________________________ This article is not an argument on whether Capitalism is better than Socialism, or vice versa. It is to point out the fact that China has been very successful in lifting hundreds of millions of Chinese people out of poverty. _________________________________________________ China describes itself as a socialist country with Chinese characteristics. Whatever you think of it, China is no longer weak and poor. While Donald Trump wants to make America great again, Xi Jinping is making China great again. Instead of fighting against each other, I wish the U.S. and China would work things out in their trade negotiations. War is a problem, not a solution. No Trade War

China and the Unites States say that they will not engage in a trade war. This is good for both countries and the world.

U.S. Iran Nuclear Deal (2)

On July 15, 2015, I wrote about the U.S. IRAN NUCLEAR DEAL in much detail. Now, the majority of people are against Donald Trump's withdrawal of this deal . I still think that a peace deal is better than no deal, but a few people like Benjamin Netanyahu of Israel and the U.S. neo-con war hawks would say that no deal is better than a bad deal. --------------------------------------------------------------------- A deal is a deal; good or bad, a deal has been made, so please think about the meaning and consequence of the U.S. withdrawal by Donald Trump, the current POTUS. I don't have a good feeling about it.

Great Again

October 1st is the national day of the People's Republic of China. While Donald Trump has been saying that he'll make America great again, Xi Jinping has been working hard to make China great again. Who do you think will succeed? Peace !

Trump Reality Show

With Donald Trump being the President of the United States (POTUS), the whole country has become a dramatic reality show in real life, not just on T.V. Do you agree that the United States is not a very united country at the present? Do you agree that the people in power and out of power, the elites, the common people and the media in the U.S. have all become very divisive? How can the United States of America be great again if it continues to be so divisive? Something serious to think about.

The Trump Tsai Phone Conversation

In the news, Tsai Ing-wen, the pro-independence president of Taiwan had a phone conversation with Donald Trump, the president elect of the United States of America. Needless to say, it has stirred up much controversy and debate in the world. My opinion is that president Tsai is playing a dangerous game. The chance that she'll win and make Taiwan separate from China and become truly independent is 1%. The chance that she'll lose is 99%. Nobody can change the One China reality, not Taiwan, not the U.S., not the U.N. where China has the veto power in the Security Council Permanent Membership. In any case, I'm all for peace. No violence, No killing, No war !

President Trump

As I predicted, Donald Trump has won. He will be the next President of the United States of America. The American people have spoken.

Trump or Clinton - Who Is Worse?

I don't take side with Donald Trump or Hillary Clinton. Neither is a good candidate. Anyway, I am a Canadian, so I can't even vote. But here is the truth: private women talks about men are not always super clean either.

Trump is a man of bad words, but Clinton is a woman of bad actions. Trump's bad words didn't cause any death, but Clinton's bad actions (for example in Iraq, Libya and other places) did cause the death of many. If I were American, I would vote Bernie Sanders. Unfortunately, he was forced out by the powerful Clinton force and NDC.

It is a sad political situation in America, that you don't try to choose who is better, but to avoid who is worse. Who is worse? You decide. Good luck !

Political Talk For Peace

Talking about politics day after day has made me tired. I joined in the discussions because I didn't like people who promote war and resist peace for solutions. I found the need to share and support the pacifists' solution and reject the warriors' solution.

I was talking in Youtube with others about the South China Sea conflicts and disputes.There was a Vietnamese guy who insisted on going to war with China, refusing to even accept his own prime minister's position for peace. He wanted the U.S. and Vietnam go to war with China. So much anger, negative emotion and foul language from this man! I told him I didn't take side with one country against another. I said I only took side with peace.

When shall we have lasting peace in this troubled world?

Donald Trump is Winning

Ted Cruz has dropped out after Donald Trump won the Republican primary in Indiana.

This is my guess only. I could be wrong:

If it is Donald Trump vs Hillary Clinton, Donald will win.

If it is Donald Trump vs Bernie Sanders, Bernie will win.

Interesting time in America !  

Chris Christie for Vice President?

It was painful to watch Chris Christie stand quietly behind Donald Trump like a little school boy being punished. It just didn't look right. It looked really bad. In spite of Chris Christie 's pro-Trump endorsement, Donald told him to go home.

Chris Christie has completely lost his integrity and credibility. I should say that he gave it all up himself, but for what? To dream of becoming vice-president? What a big embarrassment to the people of New Jersey!

Go Bernie Go

My opinion is this: 
Hillary Clinton's running for office is about herself, to seek power and prestige, and become the first female U.S. president. Bernie Sanders' running is not about himself, but about the American people. Go Bernie Go.

Gun-Rich America

Mass shootings in America are no longer shocking news. They are repeated episodes one after another. Whether you think it is crazy or not, it has become part of the US reality. Free to kill. Free to get killed. Welcome to gun-rich America !!!  

Syria

Fooling all the people all the time no longer works. Sooner of later, the truth will come out. If George Bush and gang of the U.S. and Tony Blair of the U.K. did not invade Iraq, which was an illegal war, there would  be no ISIS today.

The name of the game is to fight ISIS and the terrorists, but the real objective of Uncle Sam is to get rid of Assad in Syria. Putin is more open. Russia and Syria are long-time allies. The U.S. looks at Assad of Syria as an evil dictator, but Russia looks at the Assad regime as the legitimate government of Syria. The U.S. has been arming the so-called moderate rebels, but the reality is that terrorists are terrorists, and there are very few such so-called moderate rebels. Why do you think so many American weapons and military gear ended up with ISIS?

Can you see the name of the game is fighting ISIS, but the real objective of the U.S. is  using the moderate rebels, severe terrorists, or whatever you call them, to fight Assad? On the other hand, the army of Assad is supported by Russia as the legitimate soldiers and defenders of Syria.

Anyway, it all boils down to a competition of control and influence in Syria and the Middle East between the U.S. and Russia. Obama and Putin just can't see eye-to-eye, and it is very sad. The Syrian civil war is sort of like a proxy war between the U.S. and Russia, while fighting ISIS is only a side show though still important. Uncle Sam wants to get rid of Assad, but Putin says no, so it is like a stalemate.

Why did it take Russia's military action on ISIS in order to wake up Obama, that there is no military solution to the Syrian civil war, I mean for the U.S. to play a military chess game with Putin? Did Obama pretend that he was sleeping? So now John Kerry, Secretary of State, has begun to talk peace and take a diplomatic route, hoping to reach a political solution with Russia. It was a bit laughable that he said having a military alliance with Syria is a wrong strategy. Who was he talking to? Obviously Russia! Putin could  easily say to the U.S. that Russia's having a military alliance with Assad is all legitimate, but Uncle Sam's having a military alliance with the rebels including ISIS is the wrong strategy and illegitimate. Can you see that ISIS is both an enemy and ally of the U.S.? It is like Uncle Sam saying "I want you, ISIS, to help me kill Assad, but that doesn't mean I won't kill you!" Isn't that crazy or what?!      

Military confrontation between two major powers like the U.S. and Russia can only be a problem, not a solution. Obama, Putin, World Leaders: please don't let a war between the U.S. and Russia happen! The Middle East is all a mess. Not sure when PEACE would finally come !!!

NGO Spying

In the news, the Pentagon allegedly used a Christian Non Governmental Organization (NGO) as a front to spy on North Korea. 

My thoughts and comments:

It is nothing new that the U.S. would use Non Governmental Organizations (NGO) to spy on other countries. When it comes to spying, no country (especially the big powers) is ever a pure angel. They are all spying devils. Today, the governments spy on both friends and foes, and everyone, even their own citizens. So this is the world we are living in today !!!

China - U.S. Cooperation

President Xi Jinping is visiting the U.S.  China and the U.S. must work with each other. If they fight, the whole world will suffer. If they cooperate, which they should, good things can happen that benefit both countries and the world.

Xi To See Obama

Chinese President Xi Jinping will pay a state visit to the United States from Sept. 22 to 25 at the invitation of U.S. President Barack Obama. I said this before, and now again, that China needs the U.S. and the U.S. needs China. The world needs both. Please take the advice of Jimmy Carter: respect each other. Please talk Peace, Protection, and Prosperity for China, USA and the World.
