Panda For Peace?
In the news, CBC reports that the Toronto
Zoo has revealed
the names of the first giant pandas born in Canada. Jia Panpan, meaning Canadian Hope, is the male cub. Hiis twin sister is Jia Yueyue, meaning Canadian Joy. Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and Ontario Premier Kathleen Wynne were among the guests getting the first glimpse of the cubs.
Panda is the national treasure of China and the darling of the world. There are only 2,400 living pandas, more or less, in the whole world. Besides being cute and adorable, the pandas are very friendly diplomats of the Chinese Government.
Do you want to fight with China? O.K., here is a panda for you. Do you still want to fight? No, thank you! Panda for peace? Yes!

Sino-British Golden Age
Chinese President Xi Jinping is visiting the U.K. China and
the U.K. are
entering a Golden Age of bilateral ties. I felt hopeful in watching and
listening to President Xi addressing the British Parliament. These days, when it comes to economic growth, peace and development,
which country would you think of first? It's got to be China.
Being a Canadian who grew up in Hong Kong,
I am very interested in seeing a good China-U.K. relation. Being a Pacifist, I
would like to see the world stop fighting and killing one another.

Obama and Nobel Peace Prize (2)
On September 7, 2013, I wrote about Obama and the Nobel Peace Prize given to him in advance. Now that he has re-established U.S. diplomatic relationship with Cuba, and succeeded in the U.S. Iran nuclear deal, I think he
should be allowed to keep the Nobel Peace Prize. But has he fully earned
it yet, what do you think?

Korea
In the news, there are hints that South Korea and North Korea are
willing to talk some time this year.
These are my thoughts and comments:
Political unification of the 2 Koreas, soon, may be too much to ask for at this time, but any peaceful talk to improve relationship is better than refusing to talk and threatening each other.
South Korea: if you want to fight with the North, make sure you have Uncle Sam to support you. If you want peace, you don't need the U.S. China is not Japan. There is no need to be afraid of China. China doesn't want to fight or colonize you as Japan did in the past. China only wants to have peace and make deals with every nation on earth, to improve the life of its people, and contribute to the security and balance of power in the world.
North Korea: it's time to open up and improve your relationship with South Korea and the life of your countrymen. Give Peace a Chance !!!

Canada and Miserable Humans
Canada may not be as neutral and peaceful as you think. It is only a
joke that everything is made in China. Canada creates not only syrup and
hockey stars. It also creates weapons and killing machines for profits.
War is an extremely profitable business that Canada has now got itself
into.
Forgive my cynicism about Canada's foreign policy, which now largely follows that of Uncle Sam. Let's talk policy is no more. Let's drop a bomb has become a life-killing but money-making policy. Diplomacy doesn't pay. Destruction does. Miserable humans !!!

U.S. Foreign Policy
Regarding U.S.Foreign Policy, only Dennis Kucinich and Ron Paul make some moral and practical sense to me. War with Iran, are you kidding me? Military expansion and war after war all over the world, while Uncle Sam is trillions of dollars in debt, are you serious?
Some U.S.politicians continue to make a lot of noise and threat of war and invasion against other countries. Everything is on the table, they say, which implies possible military action. Wait a minute. Shouldn't everything include peace and diplomacy as an option, too?
Unfortunately,it seems that the U.S.politicians are still using the same old Foreign Policy of Henry Kissinger, who once said "America has no friends, only interests".
Dear American friends, please cast your vote wisely.
