USA, Canada and Winter Olympics 2022

More than 80% exports of Canada go to the U.S. and 70% of imports to Canada come from the U.S.  Canada is never fully 'independent' politically, economically, militarily and diplomatically. Uncle Sam is the big brother neighbor of Canada. 

When Uncle Sam blew the anti-China whistle, would Canada dare to not 'obey' and stand on the U.S.' side? 

This so-called diplomatic boycott led by the US against the upcoming Winter Olympics is a political demonization and smearing  against China using the same old lies, fabrication and accusation of China's failure in the US-defined human rights, freedom and democracy. 

Only 20 countries at the UN followed the US' political stand against China. 173 countries supported China and the upcoming Winter Olympic Games. 

So much political BS in this world !  I support all the athletes from China, Canada, the US and everywhere.  Peace!

What Do The Conservatives Conserve?

There was an interesting posting in Facebook. It came from a Miss R.EVOLutionaries, who asked these questions, "Can someone tell me just what it is Conservatives believe they are conserving? It isn't the air, the water, or the land. So just what it is?"

My thoughts and comments:

The Conservatives conserve old values like the master's absolute power over his slaves, which has evolved to become today's political and economic favoring of the rich and powerful, while treating the working class still as slaves to exploit, like refusing to pay them a living wage. The Conservatives would be on the side of the master, not the slaves.

It made me sick to read the news that some poultry workers in the U.S. were not allowed to go to washroom, and were forced to wear diapers, so that their corporate master's money-making machine, of which they were part of, would keep running and not be interrupted. Even if you think this is not modern slavery, it is still a clear violation of human rights. Conservative or not, this is just indefensible.

The Conservatives conserve their money and power, and would tell the government to downsize and deregulate its control, so that they would be free to do their business any way they like, without fear of investigation and prosecution. That would encourage many to do unethical, even illegal activities, to make more money and pay less or no taxes.

The Conservatives would be on the side of the 1%, not the 99%. If you disagree, please correct me and tell me why.

Guantanamo Prison

U.S. Major General Michael Lehnert, now retired, said Guantanamo Prison in Cuba was a mistake and should be shut down, because "it validates every  negative perception of the United States". Didn't Obama back in 2008 say that he was going to close it down within the first year of his presidency?

Edward Snowden and Uncle Sam

Dear Uncle Sam: to spy on foreign governments and countries is one thing, but to spy on your own citizens and the citizens of the whole world is just way too much.You must be very mad at Edward Snowden, but he is a hero to many Americans and non-Americans in the world.

Julian Assange

Julian Assange is like David fighting Goliah. However you think of him, he is one man fighting against the whole wicked world. What wicked world ? The wicked world of corrupted governments, war criminals and all kinds of evil-doers.This is what he says,"If wars can be started by lies, then they can be stopped by truth". Julian Assange is the greatest whistle-blower of the century,if not of all time.It is ironical that the governments in the free world do not support freedom of speech, exposure of crimes, and telling the truth.It is like saying hey, by all means reveal as much dirt as you're pleased in this world, but not my dirt. ........................................................................................... Julian deeply embarrassed Uncle Sam, by exposing his collateral murder of innocent civilians in the Iraq War.It would be naive to believe that the U.S.Government is not trying to catch him, and then lock him up in perpetual detention or even kill him. Some American politicians and reporters in the media are so stupid, by accusing Julian of espionage and treason. What treason ? Julian is not an American.He is an Australian.Did he betray Australia? No. Did the Australian Government betray him ? Well, think for yourself. Why do you think he went to the Ecuador Embassy, and not the Australian embassy, to ask for political asylum ? Isn't it a fundamental duty of a country to protect its own citizens ? ........................................................................................... Although I don't know all the details, I can make an educated guess that Julian is not a rapist. Some reporters in the media are so stupid and dead wrong,in accusing Julian of being a rapist. If they wanted to use the word 'rape' or 'rapist', they should have put the word 'alleged' before it. A good legal principle is that one is innocent until proven guilty. Anyway, Julian has not been charged with rape or any crime. At this point, he is not a rapist. He is only wanted by Sweden for questioning, and the U.K. has agreed to extradite him to Sweden. This is something quite extraordinary, as Julian has not even been charged with any crime. I think Julian is right, in believing that if he is extradited to Sweden, then he will be further sent to U.S.A. ........................................................................................... If my memory is correct, at first the chief prosecutor in Sweden didn't even find any good reason or basis to charge Julian with sexual crime.It only happened later, that a new prosecutor entered the scene, and now Julian is wanted by Sweden.The allegation that he sexually assaulted two female ex-Wikileaks volunteers is a serious matter, but I smell something fishy here. Could this be a trap to catch Julian and then send him to Uncle Sam ? ........................................................................................... Julian is accused of not wearing a condom while having sex with an ex-Wikileaks volunteer. She said go wear a condom, but he didn't. They then had sex. Now, is this rape? Funny that Julian is not Catholic (is he ?), otherwise he can put all the blame on the Pope, who always says that thou shall not wear a condom! Sexual assault? Not wearing a condom ? Man, it sounds more like the Catholic priests who committed sexual crimes and hurt the innocent children. ........................................................................................... Consensual sex between adults in the free world is not a crime. Although I don't know all the details, I think the woman who complains that Julian did not use a condom after the act is probably wrong. She could have stopped and left.Since she went along and did it anyway, it is unreasonable to say that it was rape. ........................................................................................... Wearing a condom is a good practice of having safe sex.In Thailand, they do a very good job, in educating people about safe sex and wearing condoms.In Vatican, I'm afraid to say that the Pope is doing a very poor job, in advising people in the world not to wear a condom. Julian: please wear a condom next time, O.K. ? ........................................................................................... My opinion is that Ecuador has done the right thing, in granting Julian political asylum. U.K.'s threat to raid the Ecuador Embassy in London and arrest Julian is ridiculous. Yeah,under your U.K.laws, you have the legal obligation to extradite Julian to Sweden, but don't forget that there are international laws, too. If you actually go to the Ecuador Embassy and arrest Julian, hey, you will also lose your sovereignty in all your British embassies in other countries. The Ecuador and U.K. Governments should negotiate a way out for both sides.I'm sure that there are many good people in this world,who don't want to see Julian go to jail or get killed. ........................................................................................... Now that Ecuador has granted Julian political asylum, the story is not over yet.It has become an interesting and challenging question, on how Julian can escape safely from the Ecuador Embassy in London. Can he leave in an Ecuador embassy car and not run the risk of being stopped by the British police and get arrested ? Can he leave in an Ecuador helicopter and not run the risk of being shot down ? The best suggestion I have heard so far is that Ecuador can make Julian an Ecuador citizen, then appoint him as an Ecuador ambassador or similar position with full diplomatic immunity. Ha Ha Ha, then Julian can leave the Ecuador Embassy safely. Julian: you'd better start learning Spanish soon. Good luck ! LOVE AND PEACE TO ALL !!!

Torture

So much B.S. If you did it, it was torture. If I did it, or if my boss told me to do it, then it was not torture.

If you did water boarding on a suspect, it was drowning torture. If I did it, it was only an enhanced interrogation technique. If you did it, it was a crime. If I did it, or if my boss told me to do it, then it was not a crime.

I am not asking for your opinion. I am telling you that torturing a human being, including water boarding, is immoral, unethical, inhumane and illegal. It is definitely against human rights and is very wrong.

Belief

Some people are against your belief not because they know you are wrong, but rather they are skeptical that you are right.

These people don't know what to believe, or they are just as doubtful in their own belief. They demand evidence from you to show that you are right, but they have no evidence to prove that your are wrong.

Therefore, live and let live. Choose your own path, and let others choose theirs.

Tony Blair Defense

It seems that the more religious and conservative people are, the more messed up they become. Politicians who are fervently religious and conservative often use god and religion as an excuse,to punish their enemies and justify their aggression against other human beings.Instead of following their so-called god of love, they go to war and kill their fellow human beings. Their god is rather money, power and greed !!!

We need more intelligent people of love and peace in this world, not hypocrites, bullies, morons,liars and killers. We need Spirituality which unites and liberates people, not religion which separates and imprisons people.

The Iraq war did not break out. It was manufactured by Bush and gang, including Cheney, Rice, Rumsfeld and more. These people and Tony Blair of UK are alleged war criminals, who told lies and played dumb that they did not know. Bush and gang broke many U.S.laws, international laws, human rights laws, the Geneva Conventions, even against and violated the U.S.Constitution and UN Charter, causing the death of thousands upon thousands of innocent people: Americans, Iraqis and people of other nationalities.

Regarding the Iraq war,Tony Blair's defense is an insult to people's intelligence and conscience. He said," This isn't about a lie, or a conspiracy, or a deceit, or a deception. It's a decision."

Can a murderer,rapist,bank robber and all kinds of criminals say something like Tony Blair did to defend themselves ? For example, if a bank robber went to rob a bank and killed some people, could he say " Hey, it was only a decision, OK ? Yes, I killed a few people, but it was only an accident, OK ? It was the result of friendly fire and collateral damage only." Call it the Tony Blair defense !!!

Some people may not be above the law, but they are beyond the law.It is very difficult to catch and prosecute them. Nobody seems to have the guts and means to bring them to justice.

If these alleged criminals think that they are innocent, then they should have no fear and worry to go to trial. I say 'alleged' because in the free world, one is supposed to be innocent until proven guilty.In some countries, you are guilty until proven innocent. If you happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time, you got screwed.

Certainly the Iraq war did not break out. It was manufactured by Bush and gang. It was not an accident. It was the 'decision' of Bush and gang, and Blair's, to invade a sovereign country,Iraq, which had no weapons of mass destruction or direct link to 911. It was all one big lie !!! If Bush and gang, and Tony Blair all went to trial,I think they would be found guilty. Liars, murderers and war criminals would be their new titles. History will not speak well of Bush and Blair !!!
