War and Love

Some people think that war is a necessary evil. I disagree. I think war is an unnecessary evil.

War is a primitive activity, the worst kind of organized crime. It has no place in a truly civilized and advanced society.

On the other hand, love is a necessary virtue. Humanity can survive without war, but it cannot survive without love.

Poison or Medicine ?

It is impossible to please everyone, but it is possible to please yourself and a few people that you love. Some people are very difficult to deal with. You give them medicine, but they think it is poison. What is your opinion or experience in this matter ?

Popemobile

Why does the Pope stay in his Popemobile with a bullet-proof glass enclosure ? Why doesn't he come out ? Where is his faith in 'god ' for protection ? Please think about this.

Justice

Justice is for all. Reverse discrimination is just as bad as discrimination: black against white, gay against straight, women against men.

Burn the Koran

Pastor Terry Jones of Florida is chickened out. He will not burn the Koran, not ever, he says. Prime Minister of Canada Harper says " My Christ is a tolerant God ". USA President Obama is an eloquent man. He says one nation, one people, under one God.

Jones is really stupid. How can a person like this be a Christian pastor ? This is the time to hire Donald Trump to tell Jones " Terry, you are fired ! " Jones needs to have his head checked. His daughter is concerned about his mental health.

Harper is sincere, but tolerance is not good enough. Jesus teaches people about love, not just tolerance. His standard of love is very high. Love includes the love of our neighbors and enemies. We should not only tolerate people of other religions and beliefs. We should love them all.

Obama is the smartest, but he leaves out the atheists. One people, one nation is fine, but under one God is not fine, because that one people and one nation, USA, includes American atheists, who do not believe in God.

Belief

Some people are against your belief not because they know you are wrong, but rather they are skeptical that you are right.

These people don't know what to believe, or they are just as doubtful in their own belief. They demand evidence from you to show that you are right, but they have no evidence to prove that your are wrong.

Therefore, live and let live. Choose your own path, and let others choose theirs.

What is it ?

Some people have eyes but cannot see, not because they are blind, but because they wear the wrong kind of glasses. What they see is not what it really is.
