Whoever said " America is land of the rich, by the rich, for the rich " seems to be telling the truth. How can 5% controlling 95% be a democracy ? Is USA a plutocracy ? What has USA become or what is it becoming ? I would like to hear from you.

According to a Harvard Business School and Duke University study, the top 20% of Americans control 80% of the nation's wealth.The net worth of the bottom 40% combined represents only 0.3% of the nation's wealth.

To be more accurate, the top 20% of Americans control 84% of the nation's wealth. The point is not about a demand or argument for super statistical accuracy. The point is that there is a huge gap between the rich on the top and the common and poor people in the middle and at the bottom.
